Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Peter C. Dartsch is a German biochemist and human physiologist specializing in cell biology and toxicology. He studied chemical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and then biochemical engineering at the University of Tübingen. His diploma thesis (1985), doctorate (1989), and habilitation in human physiology (1991) focused on cultivating organ-specific primary cells and developing in vivo-like cell culture models.
